Clean raw edible birdnest can fetch a good price up to RM 6,500 to RM10,000 per kilogramme. The market price for unclean raw birdnest is around RM 4,000 to RM4,500 per kilogramme. Imagine if you can process 100kg per month, your net profit is around RM 100,000 a month after deduction of workers salary etc. All you have to do is setting up a GMP certified factory that may cost only RM1,000,000.
